Some songs recorded with an M-Audio Oxygen 49 MK IV Midi, and I practiced & came up with the melodies for some of them on a Yamaha Piaggero NP-12 keyboard, and the track Chamomile on my ukulele.
TR-808 and TR-909 used for some tracks.
Heavily inspired by HOME, Daft Punk, Crystal Castles, and Blank Banshee.

all of Origami was produced mostly last year in Missouri. this album has 17 tracks, and around a hour-long run time. this project is me conveying in audio form the emotions that i've felt through 2020 as best as I can, and me experimenting with my "style". all synths, drums, etc. are programmed, recorded, and played digitally by me instead of analog. unlike my last tape, this project has zero musical samples; all instruments and drums you hear were played and recorded by me. this isn't an intense album, it's solely made for being used as background music. making these songs was a lot of fun and i hope you enjoy listening to them as much as i enjoyed making them <3 in my opinion this album is some of my best work yet and i'm very very proud of it. this is the record i've always dreamed of making, and i know it isn't perfect; but if 13 year old me heard this when i started making instrumentals, i know he'd be very very happy with it. much love !
